Luty w porcie/February in the port
Luty. Atrament wziąć i płakać!
February. Get ink, shed tears.
Układać wniebogłosy wiersz,
Write of it, sob your heart out, sing,
Skoro tu wiosna czarna taka
While torrential slush that roars
Zapala się skroś huczny deszcz.
Dorożkę wziąć. Przez dzwonów zamęt,
Burns in the blackness of the spring.
Go hire a buggy. For six grivnas,
Przez kół okrzyki gnać co tchu,
Race through the noice of bells and wheels
Gdzie spontaniczniej niż atrament,
To where the ink and all you grieving
Niż łzy ciurkoczą strugi dżdżu.
Are muffled when the rainshower falls.
Today a bit untypically. A part of a poem by Boris Pasternak.
We were at the Zegrzyński Lake last week.
There are no more abandoned places in winter like ports. And ports in rain and in fog even more...
Despite of this I was looking for first signs of spring, but it was hard in this cold rain.
Well, maybe I should be satisfied that it was rain and not snow, there is some hope in it:)
