Pierwsze tchnienie wiosny/First breath of spring
Pierwszy raz od kilku miesięcy zaświeciło słońce, śnieg zaczął topnieć, a w powietrzu czuć było wiosnę. Zdecydowaliśmy się pójść na spacer wzdłuż Wisły od Mostu Gdańskiego do Mostu Poniatowskiego. Słońce świeciło nam w twarz, powiewał lekki wiaterek, a śnieg dosłownie topił się pod butami. Mijali nas spacerowicze, biegacze, wędkarze i łabędzie (że też żyją w takiej wodzie!). Było całkiem, całkiem przyjemnie i czuliśmy się jak turyści we własnym mieście. Szkoda, że trasa była w sumie krótka. Na sam koniec byliśmy świadkiem interwencji policyjnej – 2 wędkarzy pobiło się o dostęp do przerębla. Żeby dalej cieszyć się słońcem, tym razem w potrawach, wybraliśmy się do bułgarskiej restauracji Nesebar. Zauważyłam ją poprzedniego dnia z okna tramwaju i zapłonęłam żądzą odwiedzenia tego przybytku, skądinąd chyba w miarę uzasadnioną. W niedzielne południe wszystkie stoliki zajęte, skierowano nas do podziemia do sali dla palących, na szczęście nikt nie palił. Obsługa sprawna, kelnerzy uwijali się szybko i byli sympatyczni. Zaczęło się od braku-nie było flaków gotowanych w mlecznym sosie. Poprzestaliśmy więc na sałatkach - ja zamówiłam szopską, Jacek serową z dużą (a nawet chyba za dużą) ilością czosnku. Moja była bardzo ożywcza, choć z wakacji w Bułgarii w dzieciństwie pamiętałam, że więcej było w takiej sałatce pomidorów, tu była jakby bardziej grecka, z jedną oliwką i z tartym serem. Na drugie wzięliśmy talerz dla dwojga z podrobami, pomidorami i z serem, w którym dominowała, nawet smaczna, wątróbka. Wszystko było jednak jak dla mnie za zimne. Ogólna ocena pozytywna, ale zamiast jakieś zmiksowanych na płaczliwie hitów wolałabym nawet posłuchać bułgarskiego disco. Słowem – można pójść, ale czy wrócić, jeszcze nie wiem.
First time since many months the sun shined, the snow begun to melt and you could feel spring in the air. We decided to take a walk along Vistula river from the Gdansk Bridge to the Poniatowski Bridge. The sun shined in our faces, there was a light wind and the snow melted under our shoes. We passed by other strollers, people that were jogging along the river, anglers and swans. It was really pleasant and we felt like tourists in our city. It is a pity that the walk was rather short. At the end we were witness of a Police intervention - 2 anglers fought for access to the air-hole in the ice on the river. Than we decided to visit a Bulgarian restaurant – Nesebar. I noticed it on the other day from the tram and I desperately wanted to visit this place. On the Sunday afternoon all the tables were occupied so we were directed to the underground. The service was very efficient, the waitress were quick enough and were nice. It started with a lack of tripe. So we decided to begin with salads – I chose “szopska” salad and Jacek cheese salad with a lot (I would even say too much) garlic. Mine was very fresh although I remember from my holidays in the childhood that it should have more tomatoes than this one had. This one resembled a Greek salad with one olive on the top and grated cheese. For the second plate we took a plate for two – with many different trimmings among which liver was dominant. It had also tomatoes and cheese. Everything was a little bit too cold for me. The general opinion was positive but I would rather hear some Bulgarian music, even disco, instead of some mixed hits. I don’t regret going there but on the other hand I am not yet sure whether I would like to return there.

the food looks so delicious. I have been going to different restaurants lately but I didn't have the chance to take pictures. I'm glad you're having a better weather.
