And again I am returning to my stay In Athens in September 2009. In the area between Victoria metro station and Archeological Museum there is a bus station from which buses to Sunion Peninsula depart. You can visit there the Temple of Poseidon and Aphrodite. If you seat on the right part of the bus, you will have the pleasure of admiring incredible views from the bus window. The trip is rather long lasting, at least an hour and a half. The temple is well preserved, it seems that the biggest devastations were caused in XIX century when people started to engrave their names on the stones. Among them was also Lord Byron however I could not find his signature. We were surprised by the strength of the wind – I do not know whether we had such whether or it is always like this but it was even difficult to keep the balance. On the peninsula there is also a small shop who uses its monopolist position offering things for exorbitant prices and an open air restaurant. On the return way we stopped at Kalamaki beach on Athenians suburbs. There is a tram from the city center (no. 5) which costs only 1 EUR. If I lived in Athens I would go there each day after work:)

O tych znakach pewnie mógłby się wypowiedzieć niejaki Dan Brown:)/Mr Dan Brown could probably say something about those signs:)
